Item 2.02. Results Of Operations and Financial Condition
On February 25, 2010, Liberty Media Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release (the “Press Release”) setting forth information, including financial information regarding certain of its privately held assets, which is intended to supplement the financial statements and related Management’s Discussion and Analysis of Financial Condition and Results of Operations contained in the Company’s Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2009, filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”) on February 25, 2010. The information included in the Press Release is not meant to serve as a release of financial results of the Company.
This Item 2.02 and the Press Release attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1, insofar as they disclose historical information regarding the Company’s results of operations or financial condition for the year ended December 31, 2009, are being furnished to the SEC.
Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure
On February 24, 2010, Liberty Media Corporation issued a press release announcing that Greg Maffei, President and CEO of Liberty Media Corporation will be presenting at the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media & Telecom Conference on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 1:35 Pacific Time at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco, California.
