(15)Employee Benefit Plans
Subsidiaries of Liberty sponsor 401(k) plans, which provide their employees an opportunity to make contributions to a trust for investment in Liberty common stock, as well as other mutual funds. The Company's subsidiaries make matching contributions to their plans based on a percentage of the amount contributed by employees. Employer cash contributions to all plans aggregated $27 million, $24 million and $19 million, respectively, for the years ended December 31, 2014, 2013 and 2012, respectively.
